Ali Shariati

The first lesson I've learned from Shariati is the value of thinking. We don't have to be ashamed of believes fluctuation. Those who can not critic their thoughts constantly can not have a fresh life, in my opinion. The second lesson was his jocularity and the third, he always tend to his society all over his life. I for one, should be thanking of him as my best teacher.

  1. I've read several of his books and I absolutely enjoyed them, his books actually helped shaped my views on religion and the world. I thought I should share this little gem:

"A good teacher is like a candle- it consumes itself to light the way for others."

  2. i remember Jean-Paul Sartre had told I have no religion, but if I were to choose one, it would be that of Shariati's.
