I'm not Iranian but I did look it up I wasn't aware this was celebrated in other nations as well. Since I love reading about history the historical origins of this day was also interesting.
salam, Iranian"s traditions and celebrations are all interesting,specially Nowruz,as a historical point i should sign it was originally a Zoroasterian festival. and yes, it's held in common between Iran and it's neighbour countries.
